A man injured in the Montgó is transferred by helicopter

August 21 from 2021 - 12: 06

At 11:30 this Saturday, the provincial fire brigade consortium received the notice of an injured person on the side of the Montgó closest to Jesús Pobre.

The injured man is a 38-year-old man who has broken his ankle while traveling a route on the slope of the cross. His injury has prevented him from approaching a point where he can be picked up by the ambulance, so they have had to mobilize a helicopter for his rescue.

Comments
  1. Renate uhlig says:

Wieso ist er auf dem Montgo, ist doch verboten und abgesperrt.

  2. Ignacio says:

Another unconscious adds and continues. Will the price of the service be paid by no?

    • JM says:

Unconscious? If you break your ankle in Marqués de Campo, will you pay for it? The news does not speak of any reckless behavior. In the end, we won't even be able to walk up the mountain ...

      • Pau (FR) says:

He was referring with certainty that the injured person was not prepared to carry out the route in this area.

In the images you can clearly see that he is wearing sneakers, and not suitable footwear which minimizes these accidents to a minimum.

That is why the previous comment qualified him as an «unconscious person».
While preparing with adequate material, it is sure that most accidents and therefore rescue helicopter departures would be avoided, which could thus be dedicated to more important tasks, instead of removing people who caused accidents in greater fault due to their little experience.
