Territory opens the call to hire 6 people to help expedite the processing of files

08 June 2020 - 12: 42

The Local Government Board has approved the specific bases and the call for the selection process to constitute a temporary job bank for the Territory and Urban Quality area. The call includes the hiring of 2 senior architects, 2 technical architects, an average General Administration technician and an administrative assistant.

This increase in the workforce of the area on an interim basis to improve the management of files and to speed up matters whose processing has been postponed and, in turn, to process normally the new files that are generated, is contemplated in the Management Improvement Plan and personnel management of the City Council of Dénia approved in full on February 5 of this year and has its corresponding budget allocation.

The presentation of instances will be made within ten business days following the publication of the announcement in the Official Gazette of the Province.

Activity during confinement

The Department of Urban Territory and Quality has maintained its activity telematically during the state of alarm that was decreed on March 14. From this date and until May 15, a total of 811 files have been processed, of which 137 have been for major works. This total also includes the 22 licenses granted and 114 files with deficiencies.

In the registry of entry and exit of the department, 720 departures have been completed during those two months, 50% of the total registration of departure from the town hall, and 557 entries, which corresponds to 38% of the total registered in the town hall in that period.

Regarding customer service, 653 queries made by email and telephone have been answered.

The Councilor for Territory, Maria Josep Ripoll, has highlighted "effort and good work" that the department staff has carried out during the confinement and has indicated that "Teleworking and the elimination of face-to-face attention to which this health crisis caused by COVID-19 has forced us have allowed the technicians of the department to have more time to make reports and expedite the files". Now, with the progressive return to the new normal, the hiring of temporary personnel approved last week "It will help us to increase that agility in the processing that has already begun to be noticed in this period of teleworking".
