The Councilor for the Environment, Juan Carlos Signes, yesterday presented a series of environmental workshops that will take place on Saturdays in May at the Casa Forestal del Iryda (Camino de la Colonia, 200 meters before reaching Pare Pere).
The workshops will focus on different themes such as invasive plants, Mediterranean garden, organic gardening novice or hiking.
El sábado 5 de mayo habrá una excursión al Jardí de l’Albarda (donativo de 3 euros) para hablar de plantas exóticas y la importancia del jardín mediterráneo.
The morning of Saturday 12 of May the theme will be the family and ecological gardens. This workshop will continue on Saturday 19 with a practical part. Saturday May 26 will be time of hiking with a route through the Cova del Aigua.

Por su parte, CREAMA Dénia ha organizado un taller de senderismo de un total de 25 horas que se impartirá en el mismo lugar el lunes 21 y jueves 24 de 9:30 a 13:30 y de 16:30 a 19:30. Para participar en este taller la inscripción deberá realizarse en las oficinas de CREAMA Dénia, en la Calle 9 d’Octubre.
