The linguistic normalization department of the City of Dénia has announced the start-up of a series of dubbing workshops in Valencian among 6º primary school students of the city's educational centers with the aim of encouraging, in a fun and different way , the use of Valencian.

As explained Councilwoman Marián Tamarit, and the technician of the department, Mar Reus, these workshops will be given by the actor Francesc Fenollosa, known for giving voice to the Geni Tortuga Series Ball Drac in 90. In one hour sessions, Fenollosa teach students the various registers necessary for dubbing horror movies, comedies, cartoons and documentaries.

The proposal has been very well received by the schools in the city, and will reach around 450 schoolchildren that will improve their oral expression in this way and will work the emotions from the voice.

The workshops will begin the 30 of May in the Marist and Cervantes schools; the June 6 will be held at the Pou de la Muntanya; the June 6 in Carmelitas y Paidos; on June 7 at Montgó and Vessanes and on June 9 and 10 at the Llebeig school. This last center will assume the cost of the workshop to take it to other students of the school.

The sessions will take place in the classrooms of the centers, since it is only necessary that they have a screen and a sound system. Fenollosa will provide the film fragments and the necessary dubbing material.
