They surprise and arrest several people in the middle of a robbery in a country house in Dénia

In an operation carried out by agents of the Citizen Security Brigade of the National Police Station in Dénia, three people have been arrested for the robbery in a country house in the municipal area. Two of these people were surprised inside the house at the time of the event while they were hiding.

It all started when the agents, patrolling a field area of ​​the town to prevent robberies, received an alert from the alarm center about a possible robbery in a nearby house. Upon arriving at the scene, witnesses informed the agents about the presence of two individuals leaving the home and fleeing in a vehicle.

After coordinating with other units, the home was inspected, finding obvious signs of forced entry in blinds and windows, which had been used as access by the alleged criminals. During the inspection of the interior of the house in the company of the owner, two women, aged 51 and 53, were arrested. They were hidden behind one of the sofas in the living room, trying not to be seen by the police. The agents immediately proceeded to arrest him for the crime of robbery with force in an inhabited house.

Simultaneously, another patrol located the vehicle used by the alleged co-authors of the robbery, finding tools inside that could have been used in the crime.

Thanks to the work of the Judicial Police Group, it was possible to identify and arrest one of the male alleged co-authors of the robbery, 24 years old, pending the arrest of the fourth person involved.

All of the detainees, with police records for similar events, were placed at the disposal of the Investigating Court on duty in Dénia.
