The Ministry of Health has published the new coronavirus data that have been registered in each municipality and department of the Valencian Community. This new update reflects that, as feared, we are facing a more aggressive second wave and that it is generating more infections.
In the case of the Dénia health department, on which all the Marina Alta, 43 new positives have been registered in the PCR tests carried out since Friday, less than half of the last update. The 182 cases added during the last two weeks have caused the accumulated incidence of the region to stand at 105,97 cases per 100.000 inhabitants. In total, there have been 1.604 positives registered in the department since the start of the pandemic.
Dénia adds 14 positives again, maintaining a stable trend that denotes a slight improvement over the records of a week ago. Now, the 52 positives registered in the last 14 days cause that, despite the new infections being decreasing, the incidence of the municipality is placed at 123'32. In total, it has already added 849 infections since March.
