The Ministry of Health has just made public the list of new coronavirus outbreaks detected during this day in the Valencian Community.
Once again, Dénia once again registers two outbreaks related to social gatherings, in both cases with 3 infected people. But it has not been the only case that has occurred in the Marina AltaAlso in Xàbia an identical outbreak of social origin has been located with 3 positive cases.
Situation of the coronavirus in the Valencian Community
The Valencian Community has registered 1.908 new cases of coronavirus confirmed by PCR test or through antigen tests, which put the total number of positives at 87.303 people. By province, the distribution of new positives is as follows: 366 in Castellón (10.289 in total); 557 in Alicante (29.777 in total), and 985 in the province of Valencia (47.235 in total). Additionally, the total number of unassigned patients remains at 2.
On the other hand, since the last update, 2.033 discharges to patients with coronavirus have been registered, so the total number of people cured since the start of the pandemic stands at 80.131: 9.213 in Castellón, 27.547 in Alicante and 43.320 in Valencia. In addition, there are still 51 unassigned discharges.
Thus, there are currently 15.706 active cases, which represents 16,03% of the total positives.
Valencian hospitals currently have 1.634 people admitted: 148 in the province of Castellón, with 26 patients in ICU; 552 in the province of Alicante, 111 of them in the ICU; and 934 in the province of Valencia, 148 of them in the ICU.
On the other hand, there have been 29 deaths from coronavirus since the last update, so the total number of deaths is 2.136 people: 303 in the province of Castellón, 749 in Alicante and 1.084 in Valencia.
The total number of tests carried out for the detection of the coronavirus amounts to 1.622.066, of which 1.461.936 have been through PCR and 160.130 through rapid tests.
Updating the situation in residences
To date, there are some positive cases in 85 nursing homes (5 in the province of Castellón, 19 in the province of Alicante and 61 in the province of Valencia), 15 centers of functional diversity (2 in the province of Castellón, 4 in the province of Alicante and 9 in the province of Valencia) and 5 centers for minors in the province of Valencia.
