The weekend has meant a new increase in the number of new infections in the region of La Marina Alta. This is how the Ministry of Health makes it public in the new update of coronavirus cases by health departments.
Based on the PCR carried out since last Friday, the region has registered 392 new infections (almost 50 more than in the previous update). In total, there are already 12.989 infections added in the Marina Alta during the pandemic, of which 1.365 remain active. Therefore, the cumulative incidence stands at 800 infections per 100.000 inhabitants.
In the case of Dénia, the curve is almost identical, since the weekend has caused 111 new infections (being 97 those registered in the last update). In this way, it registers the second worst data of the summer, currently being found with 361 active cases and an incidence of 842,93.
