Great performance by Raquel Pérez, a young cyclist of the UC Montgó-Ulbe team, who after having grabbed the first place in different races, finally won his prize. It was the best in the "Santa Lucia Cyclocross", celebrated in the Valencian town of Villanueva de Castellón. Raquel Pérez managed to remove the thorn that several weeks prevented him from caressing that victory over the goal arch in the first position.
Raquel who made a great career outing was very attentive to her direct rivals. He was with them knowing how to take advantage of the moment when Leyre Almena, current leader of the Challenge of the Comunitat Valenciana de Ciclocross, had a slight mechanical breakdown to send in the race. Battlement had to go through boxes, to solve the problem, which allowed Raquel Pérez to set course for victory.
For his part, Javier Almela finished in 13ª Position in a test marked by the strong wind, despite which he shot at the frenetic average speed of 27km / hour.
