The Dénia Public Library will be the setting for the presentation of the book Memories: Of cinema in the Transition written by Alfonso Ungría. The event, which will take place on Tuesday, January 9 at 19:00 p.m., will feature the introduction by Tino Calvo, renowned photojournalist from Dénia and collaborator of Dénia.com.
The evening will include the screening of a documentary made by the author, focused on the figure of the Xàtiva singer Raimon, previously broadcast on TVE and partly filmed in Dénia. This documentary, with a script written by Manuel Vázquez Montalbán and lasting 60 minutes, offers a unique perspective on the music and culture of the time.
The presentation of the book and the screening of the documentary will take place at the Public Library, located at Calle de Sant Josep, 6.
