Two of the opposition groups of the Municipality of Dénia, PP and Citizens, have issued a joint statement in which they express their "Deep concern for the confusing proceed regarding the legal guarantees of the Town Planning Department of our town hall".
The statement says "The decision of the government team to refer the file to the Provincial Council is surprising from all points of view", "Because he is the municipal secretary, he is the highest legal representative of the City Council and the person charged by law to resolve these matters".
Also believe that "The existence of these contradictory reports has revealed that there is a great deal of controversy within the urban planning department. If we add to this the secretary's manifest inability to resolve the issue, it is shown that the doubts about the legality of the license suspension are neither simple nor they are resolved and in those circumstances they should never have taken the full ".
Both groups agree that "There are too many things that obscure the image of urbanism in Dénia, that move away completely from the transparency and consensus of those who boast and that it is absolutely impossible to have faith in anything that this government team is not able to demonstrate black on white".
The statement ends by saying that "In this climate that they have exclusively arranged, it is cynical for them to ask for understanding or help in any task and it is just the opposite of the citizenship mandate that demanded consensus from all of us".
