The Book Month at the mall Navy portal It has completed surpassing all expectations with almost 5.000 books collected to be donated to Caritas in Denia, Calpe and Oliva. This important figure we must add the more than 200 people who have participated in the Saturday of April in the workshops have been conducted.
The manager of the mall, José Burgos, received representatives of Caritas of the Diocese of Denia: Juan Carlos Pérez, Sisco Gomez and José Doblas; and Calp: Paqui Gonzalez and Antonio Pastor. Oliva came from members of Caritas and the Association frame: José Luis de Fuentes, Salvador Escrivà, Edith Rouco, Isabel Martínez and Laura Llorca.
This solidarity initiative was underway throughout the month of April. For each donated book, the client received a solidary euro to make their purchases in the shopping center. In just 10 days he distributed a total of 3.000 € of solidarity money. These figures reflect the good acceptance of the activity carried out by the center.
