The municipality of Denia celebrates this afternoon, starting at 15 hours, an extraordinary plenary to approve the allegations to the environmental study of the project of oil drilling in the Gulf of Valencia.
It will be the only point on the order of the day with the intention of arriving in time for the presentation of allegations, since the deadline ends on Saturday.
In addition to this approval, from the socialist group it is proposed to the other political groups of the City Council a motion for the corporation to approve in the extraordinary plenary session of tomorrow to request that the authorization for the conduct of oil studies in the Gulf of Valencia be repealed and Any kind of action in this direction should be paralyzed.
This motion calls for the adoption of appropriate resolutions to avoid hydrocarbons research in the Valencian coast and realize this agreement to the Government of Spain through the Government Delegation in the Valencian Community and the Cortes Valencianas.
