The marina Marina de Denia will be the stage, the next 1 of July, of a novel solidarity day in which all the modalities of water sports with shovels will be against breast cancer and in favor of the Association Amunt Against Cancer.
The Club de Rem Marina of Dénia has organized a solidarity day of rowing against breast cancer, aimed at professionals and amateurs, in which almost all the clubs of the Suma League (Torrevieja, Alicante, Santa Pola, Dénia, El Campello) and all kinds of rowing boats, canoes, paddle surfing or sea rowing.
Miguel Camarena, president of Rem Marina Club of Dénia, explained that this day was born to promote sport as therapy and thanks to Dr. María José Santana, who recalled that "Both rowing and physical exercise increase the quality of life of people suffering from breast cancer".
You can participate with boat or board and limited places to participate without your own boat. The teams will concentrate on the Marina de Dénia ramp and will travel to the Faralló. The entries will be made in the 1 of July of 8: 00 to 9: 15 of the morning.
From Amunt reminded that to end the day will be a paella for everyone. The cost of registration is five euros and for food another five. Its president, Isabel Llorca, thanked the support of the club and the marina, noting that "Today cancer is a curable disease. We have great support from society and now we appreciate this day offered by the Dénia Rem Marina Club".
