The next March 29, the Real Club Nautico Denia will move to the town of Cartagena to dispute the 1ª Spanish Cup of Sea Kayak with a total of 11 paddlers. This year, as a novelty, the national events are organized in two days, on Saturday 30, k-1 and Sunday 31, k-2, which will allow the paddlers to compete in both modalities.
The participants that do not pass the 10.000 m will make a beamed route going out to the sea and the paddlers that exceed the 10.000 m will have to make an average of 16.000 m. In addition, a "Downwind" route is programmed, which consists of leaving a point and arriving at a different one always with the wind in favor.
The meteorological part predicts that the competition will be marked by strong winds, which can favor or worsen the conditions for the paddlers, depending on the category in which they compete.
