The twelfth edition of Boat Show of Dénia is taking shape. When something more than two months is missing for its celebration, the organization has fulfilled the expectations with confirmed 50 companies, occupying practically all of the available space.
The director Marina de Denia, Gabriel Martínez, has shelled this Thursday morning some of the details of this edition, which will be held from the 1 to the 5 in May at the Puerto Deportivo Marina in Dénia. A nautical event that has already positioned itself among the most important in the sector nationally and internationally, and has become a benchmark in the world of sailing.
In the coming weeks we will know more details of the programming. This year the contest will have three clearly identified sections: nautical companies, complements and nautical activities and a central tent for talks, presentations and activities.
And, under the motto Un Mar de Oficios, the XII Dénia Boat Show aims to «difundir otra imagen de la náutica y presentarla a la sociedad como generadora de riqueza y de oportunidades para el empleo. Este año estamos haciendo un gran esfuerzo para conseguir traer al salón todos los oficios que se desarrollan con la náutica», as Martinez explained.
The XII Boat Show Dénia has the official sponsorship of Metropol Náuticas and with the collaboration of Pantaenius and the City of Dénia. Xavi Ribera, director of Metropol Dénia, explained that «hemos querido ser patrocinadores ya que llevamos 45 años trabajando en la náutica deportiva y no existe ninguna empresa en España que tenga esta historia. En segundo lugar, hace 20 años que estamos en Marina de Dénia. Fuimos de las primeras empresas que llegamos a este puerto».
