The neighbors of Dénia have shown once again that they are supportive. The response to the 8º Blood Donation Marathon that was held on Thursday at the facilities of the Social Center of Dénia exceeded the organization's expectations, with a total of 213 effective donations, more than in 2015.
As usual, the afternoon had more participation than the morning, with 134 people presented, of which they could make effective their donation a total of 119. During the day a total of 234 people were presented, 52 of which they donated for the first time.
The 8º Blood Donation Marathon is organized by the Transfusion Center of Alicante and the Dénia City Council with the collaboration of the Department of Health of Dénia, the Foundation Baleària, Radio Dénia Ser, Red Cross Dénia, the weekly Canfali Marina Alta y Appliances Pineda.
