February 09 from 2015 - 00: 00

Last week was held the second round of participatory workshops on the General Structural Plan of Dénia that is organizing the 21 Local Agenda with the participation of various groups in the city.

In general, the organizers affirm that there is a general consensus in assuming that what Dénia needs is to recover its competences in urbanism, assuming that this document is a plan of minimums that is limited to delimit the urban land and create a basic primary network , Leaving for later the approach of the study of the new territorial and urban model of the city.

Second phase of workshops PGE

In the participatory workshop focused on professionals, the need to delimit the scope of action of this PGE was highlighted so that its approval could be rapid. Meanwhile, ordinary citizens were more interested in the accesses to the city of Dénia and the traffic in the port area, as well as reserving land to create three large peripheral parking areas.

The employers, for their part, requested that the PGE include the request for a flood-prone municipality, which would make it possible to build infrastructures to avoid problems caused by torrential rains.
