The socialist group in the City of Dénia has announced the presentation of a motion, in the next regular plenary session, to reinforce and continue to value the measures contained in the State Pact on gender violence.
As they explain in a statement, "The motion aims to reject the adoption of any type of agreement, explicit or implicit, with training that involves the suppression or reduction of women's protection measures, thus giving coverage to irresponsible policies that carry a very high risk of aggravating the trouble".
In the motion, the corporation will repulse all manifestations of gender violence, its commitment to the victims and will declare zero tolerance with the abusers. The motion seeks to reject any political position that advocates the elimination or reduction of measures to protect women against sexist violence, as well as the social drama and the consequences it has for the victims.
