This Saturday, the festivities of the Moors and Christians from Dénia have dusted off their clothes to return the celebration to the streets of Dénia. Many months have passed since they last paraded through the city, but now, for two weekends, the 18 ranks will gather again, after adding two new ones this year, to take over the municipality.
The FEMMICC Mig Any gala took place at the Social Center this afternoon, where the first tro from each filà were introduced, and the opportunity was taken to welcome the new members of the federation: the Taifas and the Smugglers. After the event, as is tradition, the first journey from the city port to La Via, crossing Marqués de Campo and Diana, took place.
