The magic and color of the Fiestas de Moors and Christians in Dénia came to life on Monday afternoon, when hundreds of boys and girls paraded through the main streets of the city in a fun children's parade. The event, which took place as part of the celebrations that will last until August 16, left spectators of all ages spellbound.
The clock marked 19:00 p.m. when a large number of spectators began to gather in the downtown streets, waiting for the event. The children's parade, a highlight of the festivities, got underway on Calle La Via, then proceeding through the busy Calle Diana and Marqués de Campo.
The small participants, dressed in elaborate costumes and formed into squads, paraded with enthusiasm and a contagious energy that conquered all those present.
