After the Christmas break the Basketball Federation of the Comunitat Valenciana resumed the IR competitions in which the teams quarry of the Dénia Básquet. The luck for some of them was disparate achieving triumphs but also reaping occasional defeat.
Double defeat in alevín before Ondara
In the Preferred category, the double confrontation of the young players against CB Ondara resulted in defeat. The girls fell through 37 to 33. In spite of the defeat, the course of this group is hopeful since they are doing everything due this course progressing in a categorical way.
The boys lost 56 to 40 in a good game, playing with more rhythm, something that has been affected since the beginning of the season. They managed to play four quarters with an advantage on the scoreboard. Only in the last two did the low score prevent them from competing to win.
In preferential children's luck
The children dianenses that militate in Preferential harvested a wide defeat before the Valencia BC by 57 to 17. Despite having spent a week complicated with many players with influenza, they managed to play some excellent minutes on the court of Alqueria del Basket de Valencia before one of the clear candidates to take the title. The Valencians had the participation of five players just arrived from the Championship of Spain of self-selection in fullness of form.
The children achieved an important victory by beating CB Innova Mutxamel by 31 at 52. Party played at a high level by dianenses in this championship will surely pick up the fruit of great work despite the results that have accumulated since they began training preparing the assault to level one in mid-August. They added a victory of those who are grateful and who serve to make a group.
Triumph for Preferential cadets
The Preferente female cadet team achieved a hard-fought victory by beating CB Jorge Juan Novelda by 33 at 44. Match in which the advantage was almost all the time for the locals on the scoreboard. Only in the absence of three minutes the dianenses could overcome to prevail in this always difficult field with great basketball atmosphere in the stands.
Also balsamic victory that arrives without a doubt thanks to the accumulated work so far this year, despite the results harvested in the first Phase of Level 1 that have had the success of always living with the best attitude.
Defeat for the autonomic cadets
The cadet team that plays in the autonomous category fell to Lucentum Alicante by 62 to 73. Lucentum based his triumph on his dominance of the rebound and on the great defensive intensity maintained throughout the game. Ours made up for the inferiority in the physical field as always based on talent that kept them alive throughout the first half, reaching the break just four points down on the scoreboard.
The strong start in the third quarter of the Alicante seemed to go to break the result in their favor to open a gap of fourteen points ahead. However, as always, the Dianenses fought unspeakable to return to the game, reaching a maximum of six points in the last period without having a real option to get closer on this occasion.
It was a great game played at great level by the two teams in this Autonomous Championship in which are the eight best Cadet teams of the Valencian Community.
