Dianenses athletes return to the street

May 02 from 2020 - 10: 34

At six in the morning today, Saturday, May 2, the permit to practice sports in the State of Alarm began. In Dénia, many have been athletes who have left their homes to carry out this practice from the first hour.

Runners, cyclists and walkers have traveled through the different roads of the town enjoying their first day on the street, doing sports, after 50 days confined to their home, maintaining the distances required by the government and individually.

  1. Francisco says:

I am retired winsurfers who buy my house in the marinas and pay my taxes religiously in Denia. The government tells me that I can navigate in a time slot and by whim the mayor removes a ban from his sleeve and tells us that he only sails in Punta del Raset, a place that is certainly not the most appropriate for practicing this sport. And also this site, being the only one, produces the highest concentration of athletes, which contradicts the recommendations of the Ministry of Health since it turns this point into a meeting point for winsurfers and which contradicts the solo practice measures that are recommended by health. I ask the Lord Mayor to reconsider and I let us sail on the beach closest to our residence since we are thus less likely to be contagious since here we are a minimal group of the population.

  2. Pedro says:

I live in Las Marinas a few meters from the beach and in order to practice swimming I have to walk to the Marineta that is, from where I live, about 10 km away. Really?

    • Diana says:

I'm in the same situation. I have the beach at my doorstep, in Las Marinas. But it is not just that anymore, the idea is supposed to be to avoid the vicinity x possible contagions, and enable only a small stretch of beach to gather in that space all the people who fit or can, x distance ... I don't know what kind of distancing is that, the truth. Nor what logic does it have.
