The Association of Public Moorings of the port of Dénia wants to be present in the future creation of the autonomous body that will manage the port of Dénia, a representation that, for the moment, is not contemplated in the conformation of Dénia Port.
According to representatives of this association, the Dianense port has a total of 460 public moorings that should have, at least, with 2 members representing them this new autonomous body. This was stated on Monday, during the meeting of the Federation of Associations of Public Moorings of Ports of the Valencian Community that was held in the port of Altea.
The request for the creation of the autonomous body Dénia Port for the management of the port of Dianense, it was approved by the plenary session of the City Council last October, an organ that would be in charge of managing the part corresponding to the revenue for the fee paid by the companies and deciding how to reinvest it to improve the port area.
For its creation, the participation of ten members and representatives of the Generalitat Valenciana, the City Council of Dénia and the private companies that have concessions in the port and which make up the association are foreseen. Port Dianium.
