The meeting will serve to explain to munícipes why the measures and actions to be undertaken in the coming months for the modernization of the line and Guaranteeing the safety of users of it.

Train Station Dénia

Today is the first day that the train will not effect your journey. It will be replaced by buses that will run on the same schedule and have stops at own stations or places nearby to provide users mobility during the months lasting jobs.

Line 9 from Benidorm to Dénia is more than 100 years old and is a non-electrified route designed for maximum speeds of 80 km/hour. After more than 20 years without investment, the 30 kilometers of road that connect these two towns require a series of improvements and modernization. Precisely last week, the President of the Generalitat Valenciana, Ximo Puig, inaugurated the improvements made to the section between Altea and Calpe, and now the modernization work will focus on the northern part of the route.
