In Dénia you breathe airs of ChristmasWinter has arrived, the windows are adorned with lights, lottery administrations are full and agents Pepe Torró and José Antonio Sevillano directing traffic at the “Quatre Cantons". These two local police again donning their uniforms and collaborated in the campaign to collect food for the Bureau of Dénia.
This year the turnout was massive and at noon could see the pedestal on which was uploaded Torró, surrounded by bags contributed by the neighbors. Some school deposited their bags and took the opportunity to take pictures with the agents.
Again the curious way to drive traffic Pepe Torró was the delight of the people who were walking in the center of town. Many of them took out their phones to immortalize a picture that has become classic in Dianense Christmas.
Both municipal police counted on strengthening the body companions who helped them time to go collecting food carried by neighbors.
The food and products that have been collected will go to the Solidarity Roundtable, formed by Cáritas Interparroquial, Extend your hand, Salvation Army and Red Cross, which will be responsible for distribution among the most disadvantaged families of Dénia.
