The rain marred the celebration in Dénia Disabled Day which took place on Tuesday morning in the basement of City Hall. There moved a hundred people from different associations of physically disabled and intellectuals to vindicate their rights in such an important day.
Several users of these associations read a manifesto in which they claimed to be an active part of the boards and that their voice is heard as the others, as part of decision making in order to support people with more difficulties. In short, being a citizen.
Aprosdeco, as a member of CERMI CV (Spanish Committee of Representatives of People with Disabilities in Valencia), said in a statement his complaint to the precarious situation currently living associations dedicated to persons with disabilities, with cuts between 10 and the 15% of aid to the sector and measures co-payment, which "It is much harder than in other territories in prostheses, medicines, centers and residences."
