The City Council of La Xara has invested a total of 20.000 euros in the installation of vegetation on the Morxama promenade of the EATIM, which flows into El Pinaret.
This walk was built in the 2016 year thanks to a remnant of the Provincial Council of Alicante. The investment, of 120.000 euros, was destined to facilitate the transit of people, remaking the margin that existed, as well as placing a fence in the ravine of the same name (Morxama).
Now, in a second phase of improvement, since last Tuesday, both trees and shrubs have been planted throughout the promenade. Among the planted specimens there is a centennial olive tree and other native species.
