The Home Hospitalization Unit, UHD, of the Hospital de Dénia Has been awarded for its quality of care by the health professional associations of the province of Alicante, UPSANA.
The Dénia Home Hospitalization Unit has been awarded for being one of the precursors of the Comunitat Valenciana, in addition to becoming a reference in the area. The Hospitalization Units at the Hospitals of Elche and the General of Alicante have also been recognized.
The award will be presented next November 27 in Auditorium of the Diputación de Alicante, during the celebration of the V Edition of the Health Gala.
I wanted to thank this magnificent team that make up the home hospitalization of the Dénia hospital. My father died last June 14 but the week and a half that was attended at home was unbeatable, all the team great human quality, excellent professional treatment, they made their last days less painful, being able to finish at home attended to magnificently . I want to thank the nurses and nurse who were coming every day their treatment towards my father, giving him security, that he needed so much at that moment and all the necessary care. Telephone service also unbeatable. I want to especially thank Dr. Angela Taverner for her great empathy, consolation and attention both to my father and my mother and me in such hard times. I know that your work is very hard, but of course tell everyone that you are worth very, very many thanks!
