The revision of the cadastre detects irregularities 4.370 homes

25 March 2015 - 17: 33

The cadastral regularization plan has detected a total of 4.370 incidents in homes within the Dénia term. Among them, more than five hundred (510) were not registered in the cadastre and therefore did not pay any kind of tax. The rest have, for the most part, irregularities due to extensions and reforms not declared or registered, or omitted pools. With this measure the municipal treasury expects to raise about three million euros. The forecast for the following years is approximately 800.000 euros per year.

Councilman Hacienda Vicente Chelet launched the cadastral regularization plan three years ago. The owners affected by the incidents are scheduled to receive notification of City Hall, although one hundred and eight cases this is not possible. The council has failed to locate the owners or operators and housing is not mapped.

The next step is that the owners located regularize their tax situation, updating the IBI of the last four years. For those who have never paid this tax, they must do so in full, but if we talk about extensions and pools, only have to pay a proportionate share.

The PSOE if elected will open a claims office

For his part the councilor who is responsible for economic affairs of the PSOE, Paco Roselló, Has denounced the desire of the municipality collector and said that if he wins the elections in May "We will open an office for claims" to inform citizens about possible improprieties in revaluations.
