Participation in the municipal elections of Dénia at 14: 00 hours was at 34'22% as reported by the Ministry of Interior. A lower figure than the first 2015 participation advance, when it was 38,43%, which means a decrease of 4,21 points.
In total, at 14: 00 hours, they had voted 9.847 people of the 28.777 that have the right to vote in Dénia. They are a thousand people less than in 2015 at the same time.
These figures have been released in parallel to the institutional visit that Dénia has had. The government delegate in the Valencian Community, Juan Carlos Fulgencio, and the sub-delegate in the province of Alicante, Araceli Poblador, visited the city at noon to congratulate the security forces for the work carried out during the day.
Fulgencio and Poblador, accompanied by the Mayor of Dénia, Vicent Grimalt, have visited the Municipal House of Culture to check in first person the operation of the electoral day in Dénia, which is being developed without incidents.
The government delegate has underlined that the data transmission and security devices are "working perfectly", as well as the device for moving to polling stations coordinated with the Red Cross. In total, 93.115 has been the voters who have exercised their right to vote by mail in the Valencian Community.
