One of the summer appointments in the Dénia Tennis Club is the dispute of "Night Tournament of doubles". This past Saturday was disputed this competition, beginning the parties to the 19: 30 hours.
At one o'clock in the morning the quarter-final encounters were played, between the two best pairs in each of the groups. An hour later without a break the semifinals were disputed between the winning pairs of the previous tie.
After 7 hours without stopping playing came the time of the grand finale. On the central court of the Tennis Club Dénia, the pair formed by Derek Petken Jr. and Toya Alemany, was measured to the one composed by, Murray Chapman and Rosa Ferrer.
Finally and after a good encounter on the part of the four protagonists, the pair Derek-Toya was the winner of this edition.
Throughout the night a great atmosphere was experienced at the Dénia Tennis Club and at the end of the final we proceeded to the delivery of the trophies and made several drawings among the assistants kindness of the companies, Baleària, Sace Jewelry y Teckmar petrol stations.
