Last Tuesday the vice president of the Consell, José Císcar, visited the nearby town of Xàbia in the course of the campaign Responem through which the Generalitat Valenciana intends to answer the doubts of the citizens before the recently announced measures of cut.
During the visit, and when questioned by some media about the project status Nau, Císcar said that the money to invest is available to the local administration and that it depends on where to allocate it. And these statements, after learning that the municipality of Gandía has also changed the fate of its subsidy, have been analyzed by the Dianense opposition groups.
The nationalist councilor of BLOC, Josep Crespo, urged the mayor to allocate those 9 million euros to smaller projects that can be executed by local companies and reactivate in this way the local economy.
El PSOE, meanwhile, has announced that it will weigh a motion to the next ordinary plenary "for the City Council of Dénia to request the Generalitat Valenciana the change of destination of the nearly 9 million euros that correspond to Dénia of the Trust Plan to other urgent infrastructure projects for the immediate revival of the city's economy."
The Mayor of Dénia, Ana Kringe, Reaffirms that the "emblematic" La Nau project is at a very advanced stage and that the theater is a priority for the City Council, so do not consider the possibility of investing the 9 million euros of the Plan Confianza in another project.
