The Civil Guard has investigated three people in Calp as alleged perpetrators of a continuing crime of theft and a crime of belonging to a criminal group. Food and hygiene products worth 600 euros have been recovered.
Agents of the Civil Guard of Calp, within the framework of the Plan of prevention against crime exercised in shops, has arrested three people who stole products worth 600 euros, in food establishments, from a commercial complex in that town .
During a specific surveillance service that civilian agents were doing last weekend, they observed an atypical behavior in a man and a woman, who came and went from supermarkets to a parked vehicle, in which a third was waiting for them. Once they unloaded everything they carried, they returned to another establishment, while the driver waited in a vigilant attitude.
On one of the occasions when they returned to the vehicle, the Civil Guard decided to proceed with their identification. In the bag that the woman carried, there were hidden, in a hole created specifically for this, a multitude of cans of high economic value. The man, on the other hand, had chosen to subtract elements of a finer thickness such as cases of Iberian and salmon, to be able to adhere them to his body in a cycling jersey.
In the registration of the car, the rest of the subtracted effects were found distributed between the trunk and the different seats. There were more than a hundred food and hygiene items, all leading brands, valued at about 600 euros.
These three persons, two men and one woman, 37, 31 and 18 years of age, were investigated as alleged perpetrators of a crime of continued theft and a crime of belonging to a criminal group.
