The prawn duck and Les Freses represented Dénia on the World Day of the Top that was held in London

The city of Denia has participated one more year in the celebration of Tapa World Day organized by Taste Spain, that last week was held in London. Thanks to this event, the attendees could enjoy the good work of Badajoz, Tenerife, Lanzarote, València, Valladolid, Zaragoza and Dénia chefs.

For this occasion Dénia trusted Cristina Bauxauli, from restaurant Agua de Mar, who prepared Prawn duck, prawn croquette, tapioca rock and tempura charges, Pickled orange and muscatel tuna with candied citrus y Arnadí pumpkin, citrus and almonds baked with almond milk ice cream and its tile, accompanied with wine from Bodega Les Freses, by Mara Bañó.

The event attracted numerous participants, with more than 35 representatives of tour operators and influencers interested in Spain as a gastronomic destination, thanks to the call of the Spanish Office of Tourism in London. This action was completed with a technical meeting at the headquarters of the OTS in London, where the strengths of the gastronomic product were analyzed to attract a certain sector of English demand.

The Dianense delegation consisted of Pepa Font, Councilor of the Creative City of the Gastronomy of the Ajuntament de Dénia, Cristina Sellés, president of AEHTMA, Pepa Cardona, head of the Department of Tourism and Reme Cerdá, manager of the association of hotel and tourism entrepreneurs.
