Last Sunday, the Calle Marques de Campo de Dénia became a true gastronomic scene to celebrate the paella contest, an unavoidable event within the festivities of Moors and Christians. The event, carefully organized by the Mayorales de Sant Roc, brought together participants from all walks of life, who demonstrated their skill in preparing this emblematic dish.
From the early hours of the morning, Marqués de Campo street was filled with activity and tempting aromas while the teams worked hard to prepare the paellas. The competition not only stood out for the culinary talent of the participants, but also for the festive atmosphere and camaraderie between the representatives of the different filaes.
After hours of effort and passion in the kitchen, the most awaited moment arrived: the tasting and evaluation of the paellas. A jury made up of expert palates carefully evaluated each proposal, considering the flavor, texture, and authenticity of the dish.
Finally, the results were revealed with enthusiasm and applause from the attendees. The filà Templaris won first place, receiving the deserved recognition for its exquisite paella. In second position was the filà Mozárabes, closely followed by the filà Deniers in third place.
