Gent of Dénia and Center Unificat have officially presented the coalition with which they will contest the next municipal elections in May 2015. Supported by militants from both formations, Pepa Font and Miguel Llobell, 1 and 2 numbers respectively of the new list, explained the objective of this union by five basic points:
First highlighted work independently without being accountable in Madrid or Valencia because "It only thrives when listening to neighbors".
As a second point announced a revolution in citizen participation by creating the figure of ward councilor and allocating a budget to each neighborhood, independentemente of overall investments, which will be allocated to actions decided by the neighbors. The ward councilor is a political figure who will act as interlocutor for neighbors to move the consistory the needs of your area.
The third highlight was the transparencyAnnouncing that although the law allows not make competition in the awarding of projects under 50.000 euros, they choose all go through public tender proceedings except those that have to be made urgently.
Fourth they wanted to place special emphasis on most of its components do not live politics, counting on its list of qualified people and training "They do not seek economic prominence".
As a fifth point, the GD-CU coalition chooses consensus, opening the dialogue between all political forces need to face the future of the city.
As stated Miguel Llobell, it is "a very thoughtful step that has not been easy without any ambition beyond that of governing for Dénia and its citizens". Llobell and Font agreed that this union has no expiration date and born with inteción last over time. Asmismo, both praised the political career of his new teammates.
Asked by the union to the project of other parties, the leaders of the coalition affirmed that the nucleus is created but that its door is open to dialogue with other formations that pursue their same objectives.
While it is clear that the number one of the list will be Pepa Font, and two-Miguel Llobell, the other components of the list has not yet been established, like the image of the coalition, which will be released in next months.
