Tent Josefa Llull is the new Queen of Pensioners of Dénia

In a simple but moving ceremony held last night at the Josefa Tent Llull, Pepita Social Center for friends, she was crowned Queen of Pensioners.

This year there was no need to go through a jury, since it was the only candidate presented and automatically took up the post. Home peers Pensioners undid in flatteries and compliments when Josefa walked down the center aisle of the auditorium, and they all stood up to welcome the new year of reign.

Carmen Bazán, president of Home, dedicated a few words to the Queen and asked him to enjoy his reign while assured him that would strive to make it so.

Meanwhile, Josefa Tent thanked the audience the words of affection that they had for her throughout the night and was thrilled to hear the applause from the audience. Then the audience stood to hear the anthem of Dénia.

To end the evening, Hipólito Miralles gave a concert with very emotional songs and remembered by attendees as My Way Frank Sinatra.
