Jesús Pobre is promoted at FITUR as a 'LGTB Friendly' destination

January 25 from 2019 - 18: 19

With only 700 inhabitants, Jesús Pobre has managed to differentiate himself from the rest of the municipalities around him thanks to different actions that are already part of his idiosyncrasy. Among them stands out its commitment to diversity and respect as LGTB Friendly destination.

This is how it was presented this Friday at Fitur, the International Tourism Fair that is held until Saturday at the Feria de Madrid. The Fitur LGTB stand has hosted the presentation of several destinations on the Costa Blanca with actions by and for the LGTBI collective.

Jesús Pobre has presented the section that this theme has in the Riurau FilmFest that is celebrated in September with the Gran Riurau as the main stage. Scotto has highlighted the commitment of Jesus Pobre during the last seven years for this theme. Thus, through the culture of cinema, Jesús Pobre deals with gay, lesbian, transsexual, bisexual and intersex themes.

The proposals of short films that project diversity, generating debate, reflection and above all normalization and social progress in terms of diversity have marked the differentiation of Jesús Pobre with respect to the rest of destinations, which have presented proposals more focused on leisure and Gay Pride celebration.
