A man of about 78 years was arrested this Friday morning after crashing his car in the median of the highway of Les Rotes, at the height of the Real Club Náutico de Dénia, while driving south.
A local police patrol from Denia came to the scene and, after a breathalyzer test, they verified that the man, with a result of 0,60, exceeded the allowed level. As he reported to the agents, he returned from a lunch when the accident happened.
The man, who has not suffered serious injuries, has been transferred to the Denia court. The accident has forced to cut the traffic in direction to Les Rotes for a few minutes to be able to remove the vehicle of the zone.
