Check-in from your mobile when you arrive at the Hospital

14 March 2022 - 15: 42

The Department of Health of Dénia -DSD- has developed new functionalities for the Marina Salud Virtual Counter mobile application –MS Virtual Counter- .

From now on, the patient himself can check-in upon arrival at the hospital from his own mobile phone, so that the APP will show him his patient code and the location of the consultation.

As usual, the patient must wait for the number assigned to him for his consultation to appear on the screen in the waiting rooms. However, the APP itself will also notify the patient that the doctor has called them in a similar way to what is done on the screen in the waiting room.

According to Vicent Moncho, Director of Information Systems and Technologies, "this type of digital functionality greatly facilitates administrative work and greatly improves the quality of the service provided, since they avoid waiting at counters or at ATMs".

In addition, once the consultation with the doctor is over, the patient can download a document with proof of it and share it from his mobile, in case he had to present it at his workplace.

Let's remember that from the APP you can interact with the Admission staff, through the orange button "Do you need help?". This section redirects the patient to different interpersonal communication channels such as Whatsapp, Telegram Chat Web.

In addition, in the MS Virtual Counter, procedures that are available right now on the web can be carried out, such as doubts about citations, renewal of prescriptions, notification of results, ambulance reports, procedures with the SIP card, vaccination certificates, free choice of Primary Care doctor, Clinical Documentation, Advance Directives or contact with the Patient Information and Attention Service -SAIP-.

Let us remember that the MS Virtual Desk application is free and is available both in the Apple Store for iPhone users and in the Play Store for Android users.
