For some years, the Sunday after All Saints, celebrated in front of this wall, which today still retains the impacts of projectiles, an emotional tribute to those who by their loyalty to freedom and the regime republican, legally constituted, lost their lives.
In front of the souvenir plaque on the same wall, the secretary general of the PSPV-PSOE Denia, Vicent GrimaltHe reaffirmed the commitment of the Socialists in the recovery of historical memory.
Beyond this moving ceremony, Grimalt said that during his political group and Vent Progrés Cultural Association organized various events, among which highlighted the publication of the memoirs of Juan Bertomeu.
The emotional ceremony included speeches by Pepa Ribes, granddaughter of a person firing squad on the wall and group coordinator for the Recovery of Historical Memory in Valencia, Matías Alonso, as well as several relatives of those killed in the wall.
