Nice show lived the weekend at the Municipal Sports Center in the match that faced CFS Mar Dénia and CN Sabadell, a team that arrived in Dénia as leader of the category and with the memory of the hard defeat suffered in the match of the first round.
The game started with great intensity and both teams soon had their first scoring chances. The two teams exerted strong pressure throughout the court to try to avoid control of the ball by the rival.
In minute 4 it was 0-1 after a steal of the ball, the Catalan team launched a quick counterattack and scored after saving Roque's exit from above. But the answer did not take long to arrive, since, a minute later after a foul on the edge of the area, Mar Dénia pulled strategy and Juanjo managed to score 1-1.
With no time to breathe, the chances followed one another and in the 7th minute a new against visitor meant the 1-2. Neither team managed to gain control of the ball, forcing them to exert great physical wear and tear. In the 14th minute after a throw-in came 1-3, with a quick triangulation that left the visiting player who scored only at the far post.
There were 6 minutes remaining until the break and the most tense moments were lived, with multiple stops of play and innumerable protests towards the referee team. The break was reached with the result of 1-3.
In the resumption more of the same, although the Mar Dénia, despite the great physical wear and tear of the first part, pulled with pride and put one more march in search of the comeback. The chances were happening in both goals, but the score remained unchanged.
In the 32nd minute, after a foul in midfield, the referee team showed a yellow card to Omar, who, incredulous with the decision, protested and saw how they took a second that expelled him from the game, leaving his team at a disadvantage for two minutes.
Locked in their area and with the good work of Sergi in the goal, the Dianense team managed to save the inferiority with the unbeaten door. The minutes passed and the scoreboard did not move, so, in the absence of 5 minutes, the local coach, Javi Arnau, put the goalkeeper player on the court to try to change the dynamics and faith that he succeeded, because, in the 37th minute, Juanjo crossed a ball to the opposite left post and Jaume scored the 2-3.
Everything was possible and Mar Dénia believed in its possibilities and turned to the rival goal. In the last minute of the game they repeated the previous play again, although raising the ball and Jaume with a head made it 3-3. The visiting coach stopped the game with a time-out and put the player on the court as well, but without the same result since, with 11 seconds left, after a ball steal, Mar Dénia launched a quick counterattack that Jaume again turned into the 4-3 final, which gave victory to the local team.
Great victory, which certifies the good dynamics of CFS Mar Dénia at the beginning of the year. This week the CFS Mar Dénia will travel to Barcelona where it will be measured on Saturday 30/01/2021 at 18:45 p.m. at Barceloneta Futsal, in the Maritime Sports Pavilion of Barcelona.
