During Holy Week, five teams from the quarry of Dénia Básquet Were participating in the "Zarabasquet Cup Amposta City Tournament", which was held in Amposta. Highlight the great role of all dianenses sets but deserve special mention the combined cadet categories.
The male cadet winner of the tournament
The male cadet team ended up being the winner of the tournament in this category. This team started winning in the previous group stage, at B. Cantaires by 77 at 39. The trajectory of this team during the tournament was triumphant. They won in the preliminary phase to Mendillorri Egües by 76 to 17. In the second match the dianenses won to B. Cornellá by 30 to 54.
In the eliminatory of quarters they defeated in a good party to the Sant Nicolau by 55 to 50. In the semifinals the faces were seen again before the B. Cornellá to which they defeated again by, 31 to 42.
The children finished in fifth place
The boys' team finished the tournament in fifth place, with a career in which they fell in the first match against B. Cornellá by 8 to 64.
