The athletics track of the municipal sports center of Dénia, was the scene of the first day of the regional school athletics league, organized by the Consorci Esportiu de la Marina Alta (CEDMA).
The wind was an unpleasant character of it, blew hard making difficult the performance of athletes.
On the first day they involved more than 50 children from different populations of the Marina Alta. There was evidence of 50,60,80 and 100 speed meters according to categories. Long jump contest and career Stayers of 500 and 600 meters.
All participants did in the three tests with a score according to their results. Points were accumulated each and serve to define the champions of each category at the end of the league, on June.
League for the results of the regional cross that was held last December 15 were also taken into account.
After this opening day of the league, the top finishers in each category are;

Óscar Fornés of Pedreguer with 29 points.
Female cadet;
Alicia Vicens Denia with 27'5 points.
