At last. The State Meteorological Agency forecasts rainfall in Dénia. Which in this city does not mean that it is 100% sure that it will rain, but it is great news. Apart from some very anecdotal episodes during the last weekends, water has been practically non-existent in the capital of the Marina Alta during the first half of 2023.
The rain, coinciding with the start of the electoral campaign, could force us to dust off the umbrellas this week. This Thursday it is already predicted that a drop could fall, and in fact the sky at this time is completely overcast. But it is Friday when there is more probability of a persistent and abundant rain. During the whole day there could be precipitation, with a probability of up to 95% according to the Agency.
Also early Saturday morning it could continue to rain, but once the sun rises it seems that we will say goodbye to the water again for a season. Brief, and insufficient, but necessary to fulfill the prediction to alleviate a little the drought that we are suffering. In addition, this will encourage temperatures to drop even with maximums below 20º.
