Fault parchment Center as a vehicle for spreading our culture

09 December 2012 - 00: 00

La Falla Centro presented on December 1 last December the parchment of this exercise, with a visit to the headquarters of the Etonlógico Museum of Denia.

It is a reproduction of the oldest raisin chrome that is preserved in our city and is accompanied by an explanation made by its owner, Josep A. Gisbert, director of the Museum.

The chrome is by Tomás Solanich, a merchant and landowner from Dénia at the end of the 19th century. The most detailed explanation about this man and the raisin trade in Dénia is in the text of Gsibert that accompanies the parchment and that is presented in a golden folder that recalls the cards and T-shirts to pack passes, and links ideologically with the opulent bourgeoisie of the golden times of the raisin.

With the parchment of this year, the falla Center aims to commemorate the golden age of Dénia and to make known a valuable piece of our history.
