Unemployment rises in Dénia in more than 200 people during November

November left in Dénia figures rather than worrying unemployment, 201 people with more targeted lists SERVEF, bringing the total in 5.377 people. After the month of November, the unemployment figure in the Marina Alta increases to 16.849 people, which is 563 more people than in October. Compared to the same period last year, the figure is positive, with 8 fewer people registered on the SERVEF lists.

Still, from the union CCOO urge caution because the data provincial affiliation to Social Security over the past year point to a drop in paid employment and a surge in membership of the Scheme for Self, stating that "The slight decrease in unemployment, more than a consequence of a sudden recovery in economic activity, has to do with the fatigue of long-term unemployed people who no longer receive any benefit or service from SERVEF, so they abandon the demand for employment in this way, in addition to being consequences of the emigration of workers, the option for self-employment or the delay in registering at the end of the month at the weekend ".

Dénia leads the loss of jobs in the region, followed by Calp (171) and Jávea (110). Since the crisis began in 2007, unemployment in the region has increased 10.369 people.
