The Mercat de Dénia hosted the presentation of the Teuladina gastronomic sample 'Dolia VI'

Dénia, as Creative City of Gastronomy UNESCO, he served as hostess at the presentation Dolia, Sample Wine Tourism and Gastronomy Which is held in Teulada Moraira Auditorium the next September 2.

Dolia It has already become a gastronomic benchmark in the Marina Alta, whose objective is to promote the native products of the region, with an emphasis on the preservation of the territory and the landscape through the production of Muscatel de Alejandría. Each year the sample is dedicated to a product. Last year an essential product of the Mediterranean diet was honored, olive oil from the Valencian Community (Designation of Origin), and this year the nougat from Jijona and Alicante (protected geographical indication) takes the baton.

Kiko Moya will be the chef, restaurant L'Escaleta Cocentaina, with a Michelin star and three Repsol Suns, the protagonist of this edition, where you can see live their creative and imaginative cuisine. Moya was presented precisely in the act and live cooked dish Spring flowers as a sample of what the next 2 of September will be able to see in the Teulada Moraira auditorium.

In his speech, Moya confessed envy of the important implication of the Marina Alta region with gastronomy, making this a real and essential engine of the local economy.

The mayor of Teulada Moraira, Carlos Linares, recalled that during the celebration of Dolia there will be live music, wine pairings, activities for the little ones and an interesting commitment to the fusion of sculpture and gastronomy.

For its part, Vicent Grimalt, Mayor of Dénia, thanked Teulada Moraira for his interest in presenting the gastronomic show at the Mercat de Dénia, a collaboration that was born from the meetings that are being held throughout the region to implement the local action plan of the Creative City Project the gastronomy.

At the end of the presentation, a tasting of Muscat, vermouth and Teulada cocas was offered to the attendees.
