El Real Club Nautico Denia participated, the past 5 of May, in the IX Regatta Suma Rowing held in Alicante. The youth team of the Dianense club has achieved gold in a competition in which the main adversary was Campello, who was a few tenths of a second.
The youth of the RCND continue to lead this league in the absence of the last race to be played in Dénia next Sunday 12 May.
The masculine absolute has achieved the third position, being 0,3 tenths of the silver and 4 second of the gold. They will compete in the final of the league with the fastest boats of the Suma League, in which they hope to finish as runners-up and with good feelings for the Spanish championship in Benidorm of the next days 25 and 26 of May.
The veterans of the club got the sixth position, showing their improvement in the final stretch of the championship. The cadet were second of their sleeve with a mixed team that did not enter in scoring, with a very worked rowing and looking for quality at all times.
Jaime Portolés, President of Real Club Náutico Dénia, has been very proud of the rowing teams of the club and has offered his full support for the last regatta to be held at the Real Club Náutico Dénia facilities on Sunday.
